How about some way to draw lines to link the rooms?  It'd be nice to use this as a pseudo-graph of the adventure, whether it's a true dungeon crawl or a more event-based adventure.

Actually, I did play around briefly with a room-linking function. I'm interested in adding it in properly, as I'd like CrawlNotes to be as flexible as possible.

Would it be enough if it functioned like so:

1) Hold down a modifier (Ctrl, Alt or Shift)
2) Select source room
3) Select destination room
4) Link is created

Moving the rooms around would maintain the link, and you could break it by selecting a room and hitting a button called "Break links".

How does that sound?

That sounds pretty good. What that guy from At Will mentioned curving rooms. That would be cool.

I'm investigating replacing the rooms/buttons with geometric shapes, but I don't want to complicate the program too much. Part of its appeal is its simplicity.

We'll see how we go!
