#1) I had an idea that is sort of a play off of the "rooms within buildings" feature of Deadshed, but instead of it effecting time/distance for the characters, perhaps there could be a more simple feature where you can barricade individual rooms within buildings rather than just the entire building automatically.   Possibly making a Mansion with many rooms a little safer if you can section areas off, or a place like a Warehouse less safe because it would theoretically be so open and spacious.  And possibly, if you barricade a place too much it becomes impossible to enter or leave without removing something.

#2) Adjacent to that, possibly infections could result in "turning" if they spend too much time infected. It is a classic case in all zombie films, and if you are near the finish line with a bunch of infected people and you try to make your hold out an impenetrable fortress, you could have a tough few hours where you may get stuck with Zombies inside, or if you want, you can section infected people off in a wing of the building as a last resort.  It could be simply that every 4-6 hours that person will require another medkit or their health will deteriorate from healthy>injured>maimed>deathly> Zombie.

#3) Maybe if Survivors are outside too long they can run risk of getting lost.  The chances are determined by # of hours the survivor has been around along with how many other survivors are with them up to a certain point.  Such as 24 hours in game OR at least 7 people with you means the chances are 0.  That way if there is one veteran with a shotgun he won't wander off, but if there is a veteran and 3 or 4 other newbies, you might get separated if you keep running them on raids a few hours in a row.  And I'd say you shouldn't get lost once you're garrisoned.

And a side question: I don't know if when Zombies take a building and there are many left in there, does that remain constant for the rest of the game like they are now stuck inside? And if not, do they trickle over and add to the number of other zombies at other places within that same turn?  It just seemed like if 20 Zombies overran the Church, but everyone was at the Mansion blasting away at another crowd of 20, that maybe some of the Church Zombies might wander over, depending on the time in which they occur, of course.  You might be able to plan it so that you take care of "sure thing" attacks on well armed, well fortified places first, so that there is less trickle over to the other buildings.

1) Rooms within buildings is something I'm looking at. The idea I'm tossing about now is having a single building with multiple levels and rooms.

2) Infection was meant to be more deadly in Zafehouse, but it was never incorporated in the original game. I would like that to change in Z2.

3) I'm not sure about survivors getting lost, especially if its very random. There should be more to raiding, I'm just not sure what it is yet.

As for the Zafehouse questions - zombie numbers are only generated when a survivor or survivors have an encounter. This number is always based on the Zombie Mass Index, which is incremented each turn and reduced each time you defeat a group of zombies.

I agree. If there is a way to adjust the odds in favor of veteran players and groups of players, I'd say go for it.  If it'd have to be more or less random, I'd say skip it cause it would just be a pain.
