Okay, I have too many ideas for Z2 to leave it as a "what-if". It's officially in development now.

Deadshed is going to sit on the back-burner for a while. I've hit a bit of a road block with it for one of the features (Tactics - a card-like mechanic for unique combat effects) and I need to move on to something else for a while. :)

As a teaser, the primary concept behind Zafehouse 2 is Hero survivors. You have regular survivors that are represented by numbers and Hero survivors that have personalities and perks. Hero survivors lead bands of normal survivors.

Z2 will also take place in a single building with multiple floors. You'll have to barricade and trap doors, scavenge for supplies and eventually, find somewhere to hole up as the zombies burst in on the lower floor. Survive, and you can count yourself among the lucky!

Hey, I just saw the ZH2 screen shot, and I'm glad that you're back from your break.

Looks like you abandoned your one building, multiple floors concept, huh?

Anyway, looks good.

I'm really fucking excited for this game, my roommate and i just found zafehouse not too long ago and have been addicted to it. Im working on breaking that bullshit 11,000 some score.

one thing that i hope gets better in zafehouse 2 is the water problem. it kind of irks me having 6 people with shotguns in the mansion and having them all die because theyre thirsty and i cant find water, even though i spend pretty much the entire time raiding for water and nothing else. I just never seem to have enough water.

I'm keen to rethink or even replace water as a resource. I'd like all the resources to be active in some way.

I have some ideas, but feel free to suggest your own. One thing I'm tinkering with is batteries/energy/fuel to power objects (like a generator for lights, say).

also you could have somthing like an upgrade system so any resource or things like you collect will be however much better at doing what it's supposed to do of course you would decide how you get the upgrades like how long you have survived for how many zombies you have killed etc
