This may be abnormal, but I use the official book pdf's to print my powers for D&D characters. I cut out the powers and inser them into clear divided sleeves. They fit perfectly.
So what I'm getting at is that your power creator creates powers with margins that are 4" wide, and thus, slightly too big. From the book, the powers' margins are roughly 3" wide. Is there any way you could incorporate either adjustable margins, or make the change to the book's width for powers?

Hi Owosso,

No, I don't think it's abnormal at all. :)

Just so I'm clear, are you referring to the Power Creator or the Power Toolkit? I've stopped supporting the former because the latter is better in every way.

If it's the Toolkit, I'll look into it immediately. I think if I make a change it'll be so the powers fit by default rather than having it adjustable.

Thanks for the suggestion, it's much appreciated.

Oh my God, you replied! Awesome!
I'm referring to the Power Toolkit, actually. When I exported a power to a PNG (which is very useful, by the way), and then imported it into Word with the rulers turned on, it was 4" wide. But, if I do the same thing using the official PDFs' powers, they come out as 3" wide (actually, the exact measurement from the books is 3.25"). I'm sure I can manually shrink the image, but it's only the margins that are different, and I don't want the text resized. The main noticeable difference right off the bat is that the PDF powers are aligned in such a way that 2 columns fit horizontally on a standard sheet of paper, while your powers are too wide for that to work (at least, not with any margins on the page).

I know it' somewhat trivial, but that's the way I print the powers (I don't like the cards very much), and it's also the standard way Wizards publishes them.

Thanks very much for the response!

To sum it up: you could simply change the width of your output powers from 4" to 3.25", and it would then exactly match the standard specifications of the books.

No worries, I've made the change. It'll be in the next version, 0.5.1b.

Awesome! Is there a timeframe for that version's release? (I haven't really looked for that yet... :P)

Awesome, I just checked back on the site and it's changed!

This is a little off-topic, but are there any other changes in the newest version? Do you have a changelog for the program?

There's a changelog in the program itself. Just click Help from the main window (where you can pick the Class and Power Creator) and select the Changelog tab.

From memory, I think I added some implements from the PHB2.
