Cn V2 is great. There's somethings that I want back. I want back the main simplicity. Maybe a  simple and advanced format. The original interface really felt like it worked for me. And due to some strange ass semi-OCD related reasons, I kinda want the no pattern. The only one I can get along with is DottedGrid and I only really see a only a little use in this for my usage with Cn. I haven't tried out the HTML but that seems like it would be useful and the dungeon levels are gonna be fun  ;D but I kinda want to be able to use the original interface with all of these great upgrades.

I had some trouble getting the solid pattern to work, but having investigated the issue further I've been able to add it. Solid is also the default pattern type.

Maintaining two different interfaces might get strenuous. What specifically did you like about the old interface? I can think about adjusting the new one and making a compromise.

One thing I have done is add a double-click to the room shape buttons - doing so creates a room in the centre of the screen of the desired shape. Is this the sort of thing you're thinking about?

Instead of having the window, the bar would be nice. And have the room stuff where it was last time. I guess you could make them two different windows that dock. But if that docking thing drowns you in code then I wouldn't bother with it unless all of the priorities are fixed/solved. Cool. Also I have to compliment you on response time. Your fast for one guy.
